A NC oyster shell has been hand picked, gilded, and finished with an epoxy resin to create the perfect accent to your decor. Other uses include a spoon rest for the bar cart, soap dish in the guest bath, or a simple tabletop accent piece.

All oyster shells used have been made by mother nature in the coastal waters of North Carolina. The shells are then hand-picked, usually after the oysters have been eaten by us and our friends, carefully scrubbed clean and left in the sun to completely dry and disinfect. This leaves the shells with no odor.
Since our shells are made by mother nature, no two will be the same. The shell used in the photos for this listing will vary in shape and size from the shell you will receive. Shell sizes are approximate. Standard shells are 3” to 4” long, while colossal shells are greater than 5” long. If your product contains beads, please note there may be variations in color and/or design from that shown in the photo.
The interior of all shells is painted white prior to being enhanced with a decoupaged design then finished with a gilded gold edge and back. The final step is to thoroughly coat the shell in a protective layer of food safe epoxy resin. This provides a high gloss lasting finish to the shells.
To clean your shells, we recommend simply wiping them down with a warm damp towel. Please do not use any chemicals on your shell or place them in the dishwasher.
Materials used for our products include a NC oyster shell, decoupage medium, paper, gold paint, and food safe epoxy resin. Depending on the product, other materials may include wooden beads, glass beads, string, porcelain beads, metal and rubber bottle stopper, and glue.
Your product is made to order from a NC small business. Production time is 5 business days (our shop is closed on Saturday and Sunday). Shipping information will be provided at check out and an expected day of delivery provided.

Shipping –

Damaged Items –
While we do our best to package your order to ship and be delivered as it was when it left our shop, we understand that things do happen. (We have all seen the videos on social media). Should your product arrive damaged please notify us as soon as possible. Please take photos of the packaging as well as the product damage and include these in your message. We will then process a replacement or return based on your wishes.
